Himali

The site reveals a landscape shaped by muddy soil with high porosity, where rainwater and tidal movements leave behind scattered puddles that interrupt the pathways and bring a layered texture to the ground. The continuous wind moving across the water surface influences both soil erosion and the swaying vegetation, giving the site a dynamic quality. Along the edges, dense mangroves form a resilient boundary between land and water, stabilizing the soil and filtering the flow of water. Grasses, shrubs, and flowering plants emerge in patches across the uneven terrain, softening the rocky ground while contributing to its ecological diversity. Together, the soil, wind, water, and vegetation define the site as a porous, shifting, and textured environment.
